Earl Wayne Bowser, 73, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on April 02, 2016.

Born September 10, 1942 in Newark, DE, Earl was the son of the late Chester B. Bowser and Evelyn E. (Sollenberger) Gill. Earl was an avid Philadelphia Phillies baseball and Philadelphia Eagle football fan. He greatly enjoyed hand held computer games, but his most cherished time was spent with his granddaughters.

Earl is survived by his son, Christopher Bowser and his wife Marlo of Newark, DE; sister, Ethel Bowser or Newark, DE; brothers, Samuel Bowser of Middletown, DE, Paul Bowser of Townsend, DE, Clinton Bowser of Huntington, VT, and George Bowser of Newark, DE; and granddaughters, Alexis and Hailey Bowser both of Newark, DE. In addition to his parents, Earl is preceded in death by his sister, Helen Vansant.

A celebration of Earl’s life will be held on, Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 7:00 PM at Elkton Presbyterian Church, 209 East Main St, Elkton, MD 21921. A visitation will begin at 6:30 PM where family and friends are welcome to attend. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions can be made payable to Delaware SPCA and mailed care of R.T.
