Douglas Arthur Miller, age 60 of Charlestown, MD went home to be with the Lord on January 20, 2022. He was born on December 15, 1961 in South Charleston, WV to the late David Stanley “Jim” Miller and Betty Jo (Groves) Miller.
Douglas graduated from Northern High School in 1980 and then went to Shippensburg University where he graduated in 1984. During his time at Shippensburg, Douglas played on the university’s football team. After college, Douglas became the owner of Strategic Sales Search International. He was a member of Pinnacle Society Top 75 Recruit. His passions in life were bass fishing and hunting. Douglas and his wife, Holly moved to Charlestown, MD two years ago to fulfill their dream of living on the Chesapeake Bay. In just two short years of residency, Douglas became a Charlestown Commissioner.
Douglas is survived by his wife of 31 years, Holly Ann Miller; son, Cooper Miller; daughter, Paige Willier and her husband, Bo; brothers: Rick Miller and his wife, Tina and Jeff Miller and his wife, Leigh; sister, Jennifer Miller; and grandchildren: Aaron Michael Lloyd and Boone Emerson Willier.
Services for Douglas will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 11AM at Christ Community Church, 1201 Slate Hill Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011. Family and friends may attend the visitation beginning at 10AM.
