Dear Jerry, Kim, Yvonne, Jerry and Stephanie and families, I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Doris. I remember Jerry and Doris coming to Mount Aviat while their children attended there. They never failed to stop in the kitchen and visit when they attended Grandparents Day while Kayla was at MAA. My parents bought a living room set from them and Doris always said they looked forward to Daddy coming to a school bake sale because he would buy whatever was left on the table. Our nursery set came from Cape Cod and clothes for our Joanie came from Doris and Betty's shop in Elkton. I always enjoyed my visits with your family. She was a beautiful person! Hold tightly to your memories! God bless you now and always.

I'd like to express my sincerest condolences to the Purnell family. I will always remember Mrs. Purnell very fondly. We lived up the street and Jerry and I were great friends in grade school. She always welcomed me into her home, invited me to swim in their pool and watched over us like a second mom. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen
