Donna Jane Oram, age 76 of Newark, DE passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2019. Born May 27, 1943 in Wilmington, DE, Donna was the daughter of the late Arthur and Elise (Foster) Oram.

Donna loved life and everything that the Good Lord blessed her with. She enjoyed attending craft shows and flea markets and loved animals, especially dogs. She also enjoyed Hallmark Movies and quiet time. She was known for her ‘green thumb’ and nurtured several house plants and flowers over the years. When she wasn’t caring for her plants inside, she was enjoying the beauty of the great outdoors; she especially found peace in visiting the mountains and the beach. Most importantly, Donna was a loving friend who would do anything for them and was like a sister and Aunt to many.

Donna is survived by numerous dear friends and ‘sisters’. Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Oram.

A memorial celebration will be held in Donna’s honor at 11am on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 W. Main St., Newark, DE 19711, where friends may visit beginning at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to the “American Cancer Society” and sent in care of the funeral home.
