Lorraine, so sorry I just heard of Donnie’s passing. My heart and prayers are with you and your family. I have such fond memories of laughter during Yours and Donnie visits with my parents when I was young. I’m sure Dad reached to his friend upon his arrival. God is filling his garden with a lot of beautiful souls. Appreciate folks in life who created positive atmosphere and admired the true life of friendship he and Dad had.

I began working with Donny at APG when he transferred from the Plumbing Shop into the Velocity Measurements Section. He was a fast learner and quickly became the kind of worker that could be relied on to contribute to the completion of whatever task was assigned. I was particularly intrigued when he mentioned having worked for Sylvester Stallone, who had been married to Donny’s sister-in-law.. Eventually, the Velocity Measurements Section was disbanded, after which Donny moved into the Geodetics Section. From then on, I would only occasionally see Donny when he got assigned to work at my range. He would still be there bringing his “A-Game” to get whatever job done, and always with a smile. I am very saddened to hear of his passing. He was a great person to work with and to otherwise associate with. I offer my sincerest condolences to Lorraine and to everyone in the family, and friends.
