Donald “Donnie” James Ragan, Jr., age 69, of Elkton, MD, has passed away. His long-term battle with cancer ended on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. He was born on December 7, 1952 in Havre De Grace, MD to the late Donald James Ragan, Sr and Ada Mae (Barrow) Ragan.
Donnie enjoyed working on cars, watching car racing, as well as any kind of sport on TV. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
Donnie is survived by his wife of 39 years, Linda Ragan; son, James Curtis Ragan (Myranda); 5 daughters: Sarah Fitzpatrick (Fred), Melissa Ragan, Stacey Webster, Donna Jo Ragan and Amanda Ragan; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 4 siblings: Darla Williams, Gracie Atkins, John Ragan (Kim), and Vicky Scott (Richard); and his beloved dog, Coilette.
In addition to his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by his son, Donnie Ragan III; brother, Ronnie Ragan; and 2 sisters: Debbie Carter and Barbara Ragan.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Brookview Cemetery, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
