I remember Don being so proud of his children...years ago we would talk about William...he would always bring him to jobs he was working because he knew what a hard worker William was...we would laugh about William driving his riding mower through the neighborhood...but he was so proud of how he could take things apart and repair them...I know William will continue with his dream to work on engines....and Bailey...he would talk about what a amazing cook she is...He sure did like good food....The one thing that he would rave about was her art...He was so proud of her artwork...He couldn't believe how good she was...and his grandson...he was so proud of him also...you know that things in life don't turn out like we wanted and expected...both of you know that for sure...but please make those bad things motivate you to be the best you can be...make those things be the reason you can and not the reason you can't...i'm thinking of you and your mom...your dad was a big part of my life at one time and I hold a place for him still in my heart...

I wsa so very sorry to hear that Don passed away. Since I may not be able to arrange to attend the visitation or funeral, please accept my deepest and most heart-felt condolances. I have know Don for more than 10 years, and although he could at times be a big thorn in my side, I still have essentially GOOD memories of him. He was an honest, genuine and truly good person, and the world is better for having had him for awhile.
