Donald A. Fanucci, age 48, passed away on February 8, 2012 at his residence in Elkton, MD. Donald was born on November 1, 1963 in Blakeley, PA.
In 1982 Donald started his career as a carpenter apprentice through the Philadelphia Carpenters Union. Working with the Louis Dolente & Sons Company as a Foreman from 1994-2009. He served 27 years with the Metropolitan Regional Council, United Brotherhood of Carpenters. He worked on such projects as the Limerick Nuclear Power Plant and several bridges on Interstate 476. Donnie loved the New York Yankees. He enjoyed cooking & grilling and classical old Italian movies.
He is survived by his wife, Jane E. Fanucci; daughter, Gina Marie Fanucci of Elkton, MD; father, Donald F. Fanucci of Frederick, MD; sister, Dara Lynn Montgomery of Port Deposit, MD.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Fanucci and brother, Dino J. Fanucci.
Visitation will be held form 6-9 pm on February 13, 2012 at R. T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 S. Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on February 14, 2012 in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, 150 S. Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD.
