Domenico Grigoli, age 63, of Newark, DE passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020. Domenico was born on May 19, 1956 in Carini, Palermo, Italy to the late Antonino Grigoli and Giacoma Mannino.
Domenico was a very proud business man, owner of Domenick’s Pizza. He opened over 10-12 restaurants throughout his life. Being a self-made man who built his businesses from nothing, providing for his family meant a lot to him. He was an avid soccer fan, Palermo was his favorite team.
Domenico is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Stefania Grigoli; daughters: Jaclyn, Rosaly, Antonio and Amanda Grigoli; brother, Lorenzo Grigoli; and brother, Giacomo Grigoli and his wife Lorraine. In addition to his parents, Domenico is preceded in death by his brother, Angelo Grigoli.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at R. T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 W. Main Street, Newark, DE 19711. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the “Polycystic Kidney Foundation” and sent in the care of the funeral home.

It's been almost 10 months since we lost Domenic and I only found out today. My wife has been picking our food up from his restaurant and happened to mention she hadn't seen him in a while. This evening I picked up our order and found out why. I'm really sorry. The first time I remember having food from Domenic's was when I was hanging out with an old friend who already lived here prior to getting married myself and moving to Bear in 1998. After we moved here we also began ordering from Domenic. A genuinely nice guy with nice daughters who would periodically work with him. You'll be missed, Domenic.
