Diane Marie Arcidiacono, age 65, of Elkton, MD, passed away while surrounded by family on Saturday, February 8, 2020. She was born on December 9, 1954 in Wilmington, DE to the late Frank William Taylor, Sr. and Catherine E. (Embert) Taylor.

Diane pursued her dream of becoming an RN and continued with her career for 43 years. She worked in several hospitals and eventually transitioned into nursing for elementary schools. Diane enjoyed traveling, needle point, bingo and politics. She was an avid reader and loved John Grisham books. Diane loved to collect Longaberger baskets and watch the Phillies. She was musically talented, playing the piano, oboe and xylophone. Diane was a warm, friendly, generous person who was devoted to her family. She will be missed by many.

Diane is survived by her husband, James Arcidiacono, her sons: Jimmy Arcidiacono and his wife, Jacqui of Glen Mills, PA; Marc and Emily of Newark, DE; two grandchildren, Julianna and Gianna; brother, Frank Taylor, Jr. and wife Connie of Miami, FL; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friend, Courtney Porstman.

A visitation for Diane will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at R. T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main Street, Elkton, Maryland 21921. A celebration of Diane’s life will be held Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main Street, Elkton, Maryland 21921, where family and friends may begin visiting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “JDRF” or “The American Heart Association” and sent in care of the funeral home.
