Diana Lynn Stratton, 58, of Oxford, PA, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, she was the cherished daughter of Dolores (nee Yampolsky) Dippel, and the wife of the late Joseph Stratton, who preceded her in death in 2020.
Diana’s life was filled with a deep passion for animals, particularly horses and dogs, reflecting her true spirit as an animal lover. In her youth, she spent memorable days grooming dogs, fostering a connection with animals that remained with her throughout her life. An adventurer at heart, Diana joyfully checked off one of her lifelong dreams by petting a dolphin, an experience that brought her immense joy and fulfillment.
She found solace and delight in the tranquility of the beach, with Wildwood, NJ, holding a special place in her heart. Among her simple pleasures, Diana relished in the company of her loved ones over shared meals, displaying her culinary skills despite her aversion to cooking. Her palate favored the delights of ice cream, pizza, and hoagies, each bite a celebration of life’s simple joys.
Above all, Diana was a dedicated family woman, her unwavering love and devotion extending to her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Joe Stratton and his wife Raina, Casey Stratton, Laura Stratton and partner Adam Lamparter, Alyssa Stratton and partner Brian Williams; and grandchildren: Rayne Stratton, Aria Williams, Dawson Williams, Jax Lamparter, Stevie Matthews. Additionally, she leaves behind her sisters, Debi Blackburn and Linda Beatty, along with numerous extended family members, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at the Fox Chase Cancer Center for their exceptional care and support during Diana’s illness.
In accordance with Diana’s wishes, all services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Diana’s honor to the Fox Chase Cancer Center, c/o the funeral home.
