Dennis Ray Singleton, 58, of Elkton, MD passed away suddenly Sunday, August 9, 2015.

Born May 22, 1957 in Webster Springs, WV, Dennis was the son of Samuel A. Singleton and the late, Margaret F. (Newhouse) Singleton. Dennis grew up in Elkton, MD and graduated from Elkton High School in 1976. He worked at General Motors in Newport, DE.

Dennis is survived by his father, Samuel Singleton, daughter, Kelly Collins, son, Travis Singleton, wife, Cheryl “Sherry” Singleton of Vero Beach, FL, brother, George Whisner and his wife, Vera, sister, Linda Barber and her husband, Charles, nephews, John and JJ Barber, nieces, Ashley, Samantha, and Amie Barber, and three grandchildren. Including his mother, Dennis was also preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Whisner.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 17, 2015 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 E. Main St., Elkton, MD 21921, where family and friends may visit beginning at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to Leeds United Methodist Church and sent in care to the funeral home.
