Deloris A. Reburn, 69, a lifelong resident of Cecil County, passed away peacefully at her home March 28, 2013 surrounded by her family.
Born in Elkton, MD on November 24, 1943, Deloris was the daughter of the late George L. and Mildred Ellis Murphy. She attended Elkton High School and retired from W.L. Gore and Associates. She was an avid and talented quilter. Deloris loved camping and vacationing in Florida. She was a member of West Nottingham Presbyterian Church. She loved people, and was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Edward Carroll Reburn, Sr.; a son, Edward Carroll Reburn, Jr. and his wife Linda of Lancaster, PA; two daughters, Dawn Michele Sommers and her husband Rick of Chesapeake City, MD and Karen Ann Luzetsky of Bear, DE; 8 grandchildren, Kayla Sommers, Deanna Sommers, Brandon Lederman, Alexander Luzetsky, Matthew Reburn, Steven Reburn, Eddie Reburn ,and Joshua Reburn; a sister, Loretta Lucatamo and her husband Jack; and three brothers, Larry Murphy, Raymond Murphy and his wife Rose, Brian Murphy and his wife Deanna. She was preceded in death by her son, Lawrence Reburn; 2 grandchildren, Crystal Eastridge and Timothy Reburn; and a brother, William Murphy.
A celebration of Deloris’ life will be held at West Nottingham Presbyterian Church on Wednesday April 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family may call at the church 1 hour prior to the service.
