Deborah Trost Soukup, 71 passed away on December 26 with her loving husband, William Soukup, nearby.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA on December 25, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Douglas C. and Elsie K. Trost. Deb was fortunate to have grown up in multiple states as well as in Belize, Mexico, and Nicaragua, due to her father’s work at Hercules, before settling down in Delaware. She worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield for 33 years, retiring in 2015. She loved her family, gardening, their dogs, and relaxing at the end of the day with Bill on the back porch.
Surviving are her loving husband, her brother Douglas Trost Jr (Ellen), and her sister Janet Renaud (Edward), Bill’s sister Kathy Reitzes, brothers John, Tom (Colin), Jimmy. Her sweet smile and love of family will be cherished and greatly missed.
