David R. Rowan of Glen Mills, PA, age 84, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 26, 1932 to the late William Rowan and Elizabeth (Jackson) Rowan.
David bravely served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. David went on to work for over 30 years for the Bell Telephone Company.
David is survived by his brother, George Rowan and his wife, Janice and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by four siblings: Jane Foley, William Rowan, Thomas Rowan and Clement Rowan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in David’s honor at 11AM on Friday, June 23, 2017, at St. Rose of Lima, 301 Lock St., Chesapeake City, MD 21915. Family and friends may begin visiting at 10:30AM. Burial will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.
