David Michael Scheidegg, age 24, of Rising Sun, MD, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021. He was born on July 3, 1996 in Wilmington, DE.
David worked at Church and Dwight Co. as a warehouse operator. He graduated from Avon Grove High School in 2014. David enjoyed playing football from the age of 4 through his freshman year of high school. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and was always sure to watch or attend their games. David took great pride in being an uncle to his niece, Kyrielle, and spending time with his family. As well, he loved time spent with his girlfriend, Olivia.
David will always be remembered for his quick wit, quirky sense of humor, and intelligence. He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
David is survived by his mother, Susan Elizabeth Webber and her husband, Dan; two sisters: Brittany and Brooke Scheidegg; niece, Kyrielle Gulledge; two step sisters: Lauren and Alexa; girlfriend, Olivia Finkey; maternal grandfather, Larry Johnson; father, Dave Scheidegg; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, June 20, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 pm at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 11:00 am at Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, 300 State Road, West Grove, PA 19390, where friends and family may begin visiting at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “Gift of Life” and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.O. Box 248, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
