David Gruner was an important figure in my life. A dear friend and father to my closest friend Tim. As a high schooler, I delivered the daily newspaper and witnessed family events as the kids grew up (with me) and Dave and Patricia grew to become more extended family. Dave even went the extra mile and helped me to secure my first car loan.

He has always been a very giving person and these attributes are rare these days. It is evident in the way he conducted his own life taught those values to his children. He will be missed by us all.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Mrs.David Gruner (Pat):
I am shocked and sadden upon hearing of Dave's passing. My sincere condolence to you and your family. I've worked with Dave for many years and respected him and his work ethics and personality. I was privileged to visit your home and meet you. I haven't had much contact with Dave these past years, probably because of distance and aging. Put your trust in your family and friends and except their help and guidance.

My father always believed in taking care of the things that you owned. Shine the shoes, sharpen the knife or lawnmower blade and the big one was getting the car maintenance done. So the truck in going in the shop on Wednesday.

Don't Cry for Me Don't cry for me now I have died, for I'm still here I'm by your side, My body's gone but my soul's is here, please don't shed another tear, I am still here I'm all around, only my body lies in the ground. I am the snowflake that kisses your nose, I am the frost, that nips your toes. I am the sun ,bringing you light, I am the star, shining so bright. I am the rain, refreshing the earth, I am the laughter, I am the mirth. I am the bird, up in the sky, I am the cloud, that's drifting by. I am the thoughts, inside your head, While I'm still there, I can't be dead.
