David Anthony Campbell (61), of Rising Sun, MD, passed away on September 22, 2024. He was born on February 25, 1963, in McKeesport, PA, to the late Clarence and Vera (née Freedman) Campbell.
David proudly served his country for eight years in the U.S. Air Force, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. A lifelong learner with a passion for mathematics and an eye for emerging technology trends, David pursued his master’s degree from Wesley College while balancing full-time work and family responsibilities. He built a successful career at Agilent Technologies, Inc., where he was highly regarded for his expertise and dedication.
Outside of work, David found joy in simple pleasures. He was an exceptional cook, both in the kitchen and on the backyard grill—his meals were so delicious that no one needed an appetite to appreciate them. He also cherished his trips to the Amish markets and could often be found at the driving range, hitting golf balls with precision. A devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, David always made time for the team he loved.
Above all, David treasured his family. Spending time with his daughters and grandson was his greatest source of happiness. His love for them was boundless, and they will forever hold him in their hearts.
David is survived by his beloved daughters, Jennifer Campbell and Lauren Campbell, and her husband, Jason Willey; his cherished grandson, Jace Willey; six siblings; and many extended family members and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
