Darrell E. Ireland, “Inkspot”, age 47, of Elkton, MD passed away suddenly on August 10, 2013 at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He was born in Hartland, ME on October 16, 1965 to Eric and Carlene (Tapley) Ireland.
Darrell was employed as a truck driver for Tipton Trucking in Oxford, PA. He loved the ocean and spending time with his wife. His greatest passion was wrenching on bikes. Darrell was a loyal member of the Pagan’s MC.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lucinda Ireland of Elkton, MD; sons, Anthony D. Ellis and his wife Ilene of Elkton, MD and Deric Ireland of Charlestown, ME; daughter, Amanda L. Ireland of Brewer, ME; mother, Carlene Tapley of Sumpter, SC; father Eric Ireland of Bangor, ME; brothers, Marshall Ireland and his wife Marissa of Haveral, MA; Tommy Tapley of Sumpter, SC; sister, Vicki Hersom of Danvers, MA and five grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Friday August 16 from 6-8 PM at R.T. Foard Funeral Home located at 259 E. Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921. A funeral service will be held 11AM on Saturday August 17, 2013 at the funeral home where family and friends may arrive one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made payable to: Eli Matthews Foundation for Childhood Leukemia and can be mailed to: R.T. Foard Funeral Home P.A., 259 E. Main St. Elkton, MD 21921.

I met ink-spot while driving for Werner, from the first time we met we hit it off as friends. The time i spent with him i will never forget, even after i diden't drive with Werner anymore we still stayed in touch.
