Daniel Rene’ Hubbert, age 68 of Rising Sun, MD passed away on August 17, 2016. He was born on October 25, 1947 in Wilmington, DE to the late, Albert Le Hubbert, Sr. and Sara Irene (Warpoole), and grew up in Elk Mills, MD.

Danny was a retired Machinist/Engineering Technician from Aberdeen Proving Grounds. He had outstanding mechanical abilities and enjoyed fixing small engines and completing his own mechanical and home repairs. In his younger years, his free time was spent hunting and coaching Little League Baseball. In recent years, he followed the Little League World Series each year and enjoyed reminiscing with family. Danny was sure to always have a maintained lawn, to the envy of his neighbors and enjoyed growing his own vegetables. Danny furthermore, loved eating crabs with his family and friends.

Danny is survived by his daughter, Tammy D. Hubbert of Rising Sun, MD; son, Daniel R. Hubbert, II and his wife, Deborah of Rising Sun, MD; five grandchildren: Taylor and husband Aaron, Kaden, Annalyn, Benjamin, and Sara; as well as four brothers: Albert Hubbert Jr. of North East, MD, Steve Hubbert and his wife, Billie of Elkton, MD, Fred Hubbert and his wife, Jackie of Elkton, MD, and Tim Hubbert of Elkton, MD; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Danny’s life will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 3:00PM at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911. A visitation will be held one hour prior beginning at 2:00PM where family and friends are welcomed to attend.
