I have very good vivid memories of Danny from my childhood. My dad Harry really cared about him. And I remember going to a ranch . And a mean bull in the field . I don’t have a lot of good memories. Danny is one of them .

Dan is going to be missed by everyone who knew him. He was always great to listen at whatever was going on. Dan loved his family like no other. We will always have the memories of weddings, family gatherings, pow wows and visits. Especially getting bussels of crabs. I remember Dan, George Joe all being together and Aunt Irene trying her best to talk some sense into them. It was so much fun watching them all listening to her until she went somewhere else. I will definitely miss the smiles and laughter.

Daddy's Hands is a song I picked for him when I was 16 years old. His love will never be forgotten and his way of knowing the answer to question he asks. I loved hearing and listening to him tell me about his past. We spent hours driving through Baltimore about when he was just a little boy taking care of my Aunt Vera and Aunt Isabel. He loved and protected his family, while making sure his friends that may need something had it. Children definitely were on top of his list, you were not to treat them badly and he mellowed as he aged!!!! My lessons from him may have been "hard as steel"" but never will I doubt the love he had for me!!! Rest in Peace, hope you ran into mighty mite and got the biggest hug of all, I am sure he is rejoined with Ray. I love you dad, now and forever in my heart!!!!

My sweet Daniel....you are at peace and no more sickness, hospitals or doctors. You were the strongest elder I have ever seen. Thank you for all the love and support you always gave me in my leadership role...you made me feel like I could do anything. It was am honor to serve with you on our tribal council and an honor to call you my family. I love you and I will miss you but I will never forget you. You truly LIVED LIFE and I admired and respected you for sharing your life experiences with me. My condolences to your sweet and devoted wife Kathy and to your children and grandchildren...I pray they will find healing and peace in the days to come.
