I am sorry to hear of Dan's passing. He leaves this world too soon. Danny and I were best friends back when we were very young living on the Lake Road, on the edge of town. I remember he was a great story teller. Even at 7 years old, he could take a minor issue and turn it into an epic event. He could have been a great writer. God bless you and all of his family.

I was so sadden to hear about my brother Dan had passed away. It's still hard to believe. He always stopped in to see me when he came to Maine. We would talk for hours. Showing me pictures of his grandchildren and talking about all the times we had in the past. He was a great brother and I will miss him dearly. Sending love and prayers to his children Danielle, Casey and Ian and his wife Tammy.. Love you Dan.. Bess and Bob

Family, it is with a heavy heart I leave this message.. Danny and I had numerous great times together and those memories will be cherished as the news of his passing came way to soon.
His memory combined with recalling specific instances always drew a laugh when we reminisced about certain times growing up. I will always remember his chuckle linked with a belly laugh....
We cannot forget his beard....he could grow a full beard in record time....last summer we were sharing pics on our phones and Ian, you have the same gene...cherish it.
Danny had many passions which ranged from old Chevy pick-ups, motorcycles, tractors to the skies,(piper cubs) which he loved to talk about in great detail. His inventory always grew and never diminished...evident within the Grindstone compound...lol
Danny...RIP...super great friend...our paths will cross again someday so we can reminisce .... God Bless
