It is with heavy hearts that we announce Dale Wayne Jones, 64, went to be with our Lord and Savior on April 26, 2025, after a short battle with cancer. A celebration of life will be held at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, Chesapeake City, MD, on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 11 a.m. with funeral procession to follow at Bethel Cemetery. Family will be accepting guests for visitation beginning at 10 a.m.

Dale owned his own business, D. Jones Backhoe Services, f/k/a D&M Backhoe, and later became a Realtor with RE/Max Vision. He enjoyed working with people and was very knowledgeable and skilled, no matter the task. Dale enjoyed being on the water, fishing and crabbing, bee keeping and playing with his dogs, but mostly spending quality time by the campfire with his family and friends.

Dale is survived by his wife, Stephanie, his children, Heather (Jones) Stevens (James), Michael Jones (Alexandria), Matthew Jones, (Samantha), Ashley (Burns) Alexander (Wayne), Megan (Burns) Arrieta (Marty), and Justin Jones (Sarah), and 8 very special grandchildren, Lehlan, Nathan, Ryan, Beau, Bailey, Astrid,  Brooklyn and his newest, Emma Grace, his father, George Wayne Jones, and his brothers, Kevin Jones and Jeff Jones along with nieces, nephews and their families.

In lieu of flowers, we suggest buying yourself some crabs and have a feast, by a campfire if possible, in his memory.
