Craig Allen Tweed, age 55, of Bear, DE, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at his residence.

Born August 19, 1957 in Wilmington, DE, Craig was the son of Lucille and the late Norman E. Tweed. Craig worked as a metal fabricator and welder for several years in New Mexico and at RC Peoples in Glasgow, DE. He also worked as a machinist for Priority Mail, Exton, PA. He played football and wrestled at Christiana High School. Craig enjoyed Harley motorcycles, hunting and was an avid archer. He was also a professional roller-skater.

Including his mother, Lucille Tweed, Craig is survived by his two sons, Gus and Scott Tweed, both of Loveland, CO; and his brother, Randy Evans Tweed of Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father, the late Norman E. Tweed.

A memorial service honoring Craig’s life will be held at 7pm on Monday, April 8, 2013 at R.T. Foard & Jones, Inc., 122 W. Main Street, Newark, DE 19711. Family and friends may call beginning at 6pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Season’s Hospice c/o the funeral home.
