Corina LaPointe, 72, of Connelly Springs, NC, formerly of Newark, DE, passed away at the Carolina Rehab Center of Burke on January 4, 2013.
Born in Todd, NC on October 3, 1940, Corina was the daughter of the late Donald and Nannie Watson Howell. She worked at and retired from W.L. Gore and Associates.
She is survived by her son, Michael Hill of Newark, DE; two daughters, Connie Hall and her husband Douglas of Elkton and Brenda Lemke and her husband Louis of Elkton; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sister, Eliza Holman and her beloved dog, Missy. Her husband Edward (Sonny) LaPointe who died in 1994 and her son, Edward Hill who died in 2010, preceded her in death.
Services will be held at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main St., Elkton, MD 21921 on Friday January 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Slate Ridge Cemetery in Delta, PA following the service.

Lord that bert was crazy about her. there was a song that came out in 1960 "corina corina" bert sang it all the time. many fond memories. may God's love and peace be upon you all.

I will always remember staying in the trailerpark in rising sun maryland with you all. we were young about 12 years old. It was fun staying with aunt corina and uncle bert. will miss them. love you brenda, connie, and michael and will miss eddie too.
