Clarissa “Rissa” Adele Stroupe, age 56, of Elkton, MD passed away on June 20, 2018. Born on November 30, 1961 in Elkton, MD, she was the daughter of Lucy A. (Hoffman) Fox and Ralph Fox.

Rissa was a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene where she spent many hours helping the church with any activities they had going on. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and friend and she cherished time spent with her family, especially with Missy and “KP”.

In addition to her parents, Rissa is survived by her loving husband, together for 33 years and married for 28 years, Dennis Stroupe; son, Denny Stroupe; daughter, Katelynn Stroupe; and siblings: Steve, Brian, Mark, Katrina, Missy, Frankie, and Johnny; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Celebration of Rissa’s Life will be held at 8pm on Monday, June 25, 2018 at the Church of the Nazarene, 2626 Jacob Tome Memorial Highway, Colora, MD 21917, where friends and family may visit beginning at 6pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to the “Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute” and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., PO Box 248, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
