I was so sorry to hear of my Aunt Clara's passing. News finally caught up with us in Amsterdam a couple of days ago. I will miss our great conversations and your "wicked sense of humor". For you dear Auntie,
"If I had the wings of a turtle dove (a turtle dove)
Off to the woods I would fly (I'd fly)
There to remain as a turtle dove (a turtle dove)
There to remain till I die ( I die)
ou la la, ou la la, ou la la la.......
There to remain till I die"

I was so sorry to hear of Clara’s passing. We spoke on the phone every couple months and I really enjoyed keeping in touch over the years. My aunt was Diane Shortt Francis and I am forever grateful for all Clara did for my aunt until she passed, and for remaining friends with me. She gave me a lot of wisdom and great advice which I will never forget, and will remain in my heart forever. All my love to Gregg and his family,
Sincerely, Stacy Doughten Sasser (Pinebluff, North Carolina)
