In Loving Memory of Christy Renee Potter

Christy Renee Potter, aged 49, of Elkton, MD, passed away on October 19, 2023, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on October 23, 1973, the cherished daughter of Thomas and Mary (nee, Jones) Jenkins.

Christy led a fulfilling life as an accomplished hairdresser, providing her skills and expertise at salons in the Elkton area. Her talents extended beyond the salon, as she was known for her culinary prowess and her ability to whip up delicious meals. Christy’s warm and outgoing personality endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She had a love for Heavy Metal Music and a passion for Horror Movies, with “Jaws” holding a special place in her heart as her favorite horror film. The beach, and particularly walking the boardwalk at Ocean City, brought her immense joy and tranquility.

Christy’s memory will forever be cherished by all whose lives she touched.

In addition to her parents, Christy is survived by her two loving children, Tyler Biser and Brandon Biser, both of Elkton, MD. She is also survived by her brother, David Shawn Jenkins, and his wife, Nicole of Elkton, MD.

A Celebration of Christy’s Life will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the R. T. Foard Funeral Home, located at 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD. The family will begin receiving friends at 10:00 AM, preceding the service.

Christy’s kindness, her zest for life, and her love for family and friends will be forever remembered. She leaves a lasting legacy in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Christy will definitely be missed. She always had a way of putting a smile on your face or making you laugh.
