Christopher Matthew Losten “Chris” (41) of Chesapeake City, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023. Born on August 18, 1981 in Elkton Maryland, he is the son of Andrea (Green) and Michael Losten.
Chris graduated from Bohemia Manor High School, Class of 2000. He was a talented and natural athlete, and excelled on both the High School Varsity Wrestling Team and Football Team. After graduation, Chris plied his trade on the water as a Dredgeman and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 25. He enjoyed staying fit by going to the gym, being on the beach, snowboarding and crabbing. He was an avid Miami Dolphins Fan. His family remembers him for his big heart and love of animals, especially dogs. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Chris is preceded in death by his grandmother, Charlene Green and grandfather, Mike Losten.
He is survived by his mother, Andrea Losten; father, Michael (Tammy) Losten; grandfather, John Green; brothers: Eric (Jessica) Losten, Michael (Erika) Losten and Tyler Losten; nephew, Kash Losten; nieces: Payton Losten, Paige Losten and Layla Ireland; uncle, Steve Losten and aunt, Michelle McCormick.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 11:00 AM at R. T. Foard Funeral Home – 318 George Street, Chesapeake City, MD. The family will begin receiving friends at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
