Charles “Charlie” William Deitzel, age 76, of Port Deposit, MD passed away May 18, 2019. Charlie was born in Maryland on April 28, 1943.
Charlie worked as a long-haul truck driver for many years. He really enjoyed the time he spent crabbing with his friends. Charlie was a very private person and mostly kept to himself.
He is survived by his brother, Edward Deitzel (Edith); sister, Martha Milton; sons, John Deitzel and James Deitzel; sister-in-law, Elaine Deitzel.
He was pre-deceased by his wife, Joyce Deitzel; parents, Leonard and Hazel Jean Deitzel; brother, Leonard “David” Deitzel.
A visitation will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at R. T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 S. Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am on Friday, May 24, 2019 at Harford Memorial Gardens, 3839 Aldino Road, Aberdeen, MD. 21001.
