Charles Walker Lowe, age 63, of Rising Sun, MD passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016.

Born on April 27, 1952 in Grundy, VA. He was employed by John Zartler, farming for most of his working career. He was a big fan of the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles sports teams. He also enjoyed fishing.

Charles is survived by his children, Charles Ernest Lowe and his wife, Kelly of Leonardtown, MD and Shelley Goetchius of Exmore, VA; sister, Margaret Pomante of North East, MD; grandchildren, Destiny Goetchius, Steven Goetchius, Katherine Lowe, Sarah Lowe, and Caroline Lowe; former spouse, Doris A. Lowe of Belcamp, MD; 2 nephews, Brian Lowe of North East, MD and Patrick McCardell of Quarryville, PA.

He is also survived by his father, Charles E. Lowe of Orange, CT and preceded in death by his mother, Vida E. Simmons.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11 am at Ebenezer United Methodist Church; 1072 Ebenezer Church Road, Rising Sun, MD 21911. Family and friends may visit beginning at 10 am. Burial will follow after the memorial service in the adjacent Ebenezer Cemetery.
