Charles Stewart Demond, Jr. “Stew”

June 8, 1951 - August 21, 2018

Stew was a kind and giving person. He loved making people laugh and leaving them with a smile. He was a true waterman at heart and his second home was on or near the water. He particularly enjoyed watching the sun set over the water at the VFW in North East, MD.

Stew is survived by his sisters: Hope (Tom) Dieffenbach and Sarah (Don) Hoopes and seven grandchildren: Antonio, Cloey, Elyssa, Mark, Ciara, Nickolas and Chance. Including his parents, Stew was preceded in death by his three children: Tony Demond, Tara Reynolds and Nick Demond.

A celebration of Stew’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to a charity of your choice and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 E. Main St., Elkton, MD 21921.

Sarah and Hope, I am so sorry for your loss of your brother. I knew him for some time and he was a character, which everyone loved. I can remember him working for Brud Cameron at the hair salon in Elkton, coming into Spences and being ornery. RIP Stew you will be missed

Sarah and Hope Elaine, so sorry for your loss. Stew was a wonderful person who always had a story or joke to tell when you would see him. My first wife, Nancy, worked for Brud Cameron in Elkton years ago. Stew would keep you in stitches. His memories will always be in your hearts. God bless.
