Charles R. Witmer IV

March 1, 1960 - July 27, 2012

Charles ‘Bud’ R. Witmer IV, age 52, of St, Georges, DE, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012. He was born on March 1, 1960 to Charles R., III and Harriet Ann (Haase) Witmer.

Bud was a member of the Elkton Moose Lodge and the Men’s Auxiliary VFW 475. He was an avid Redskins fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR, especially Jeff Gordon. He also enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, watching his kids play softball and being with his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughters, Dianna Witmer of St. Georges, DE and Deborah Witmer of New Castle, DE; fiance, Laura Pomichalek of Bear, DE; step-daughters, Trista Janniney of Newark, DE and Erica Pomichalek of Bear, DE; father, Charles Witmer III; and three brothers, Steven, David, and Craig Witmer, all of Newark, DE. He was also survived by his aunt, Deborah Witmer of Newark, DE and numerous nieces and nephews. Bud was preceded in death by his mother, Harriet Witmer and brother, Robert Witmer.

Services will be at 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at R.T. Foard and Jones, 122 W. Main Street, Newark, DE 19711, where friends and family may call two hours prior. Burial will be private.

To the Witmer family,so sorry to here the news about Buddy,we were Best friends back in middle school.we got in so much trouble together in school and at his house when I use to spend the night.good memories and a good friend!
