Cecilia Ann Hackney Colalillo, AKA Mommy Dearest and Mrs. C., 71, a resident at Emily Bissell, passed away at Christiana Hospital June 4, 2013.
A graduate of Caesar Rodney High School, she worked in sales at Avon and was a top seller in the ’80s. She was a member of the Christiana High School Band Front and a Band Boosters Chaperone and a women’s rec softball cheerleader. Cecilia was a member of Holy Family Church and the Holy Angels Rosary Club. She loved Conway Twitty, Fleetwood Mac and Tina Turner, the TV show Dallas and eating popcorn. She was a Dallas Cowboys and Jeff Gordon fan.
She is survived by two daughters, Victoria L. Hackney of FL, and Elizabeth Dale A. Colalillo Moodie of DE and a grandson Conner Moodie; 2 stepdaughters, Carol Doyle of NJ and Margaret Turner of VA, a foster daughter Elizabeth Bergmann Pinter of IA; a sister Linda Boulden of DE; an aunt Anna Yurek of DE and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Colalillo and her mother and father, Stephania and Lindale Loper.
