You were most certain to leave with a smile after a chat with Cathy. She was probably the most kind person I've ever encountered. May her light shine on in all who knew her.

My thoughts and prayers and with Dean and Roscoe. Even as a little girl Kathy was a joy to everyone. I remember she would sit next to me on the bleaches at her Dad's and Verns ball games in Rising Sun and would get so excited. She was such a pleasure and she will be surely missed by everyone.

Cathy was such a joy as she greeted visitors to the county administration building. If I recall Commissioner Cliff Buckworth hired her when the offices were still in the old courthouse. I enjoyed chatting with her as I entered the building several times a week while I was a reporter at the Cecil Whig. She was a true professional and dedicated employee. May she Rest In Peace.

Deepest Sympathy. I knew Cathy in high school and had the privilege of escorting her to some of her classes. When I saw her last she was smiling and welcoming people at the reception desk as she worked. Cathy you will be missed by many.

I first met Cathy in August of 1989 when I first started working for the County. We had a common interest in Labradors and compared notes every time I was at the courthouse. Eventually, I moved to Senior Services as Administrative Assistant to the Director and Cathy came to work with us. When the new building was ready for us to move in I pushed for Cathy to get her position back as the main receptionist. That was HER position, and she excelled at it. I was very fortunate to know her. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how proud you are at all she accomplished throughout her life. She set a fine example for others who are handicapped. Peace be with you both.

To Cathy's beloved Mom and Dad, I have known Cathy since we first met working in the Court House. We talked a lot about us both being born with Spina Bifida. I loved her smile and admired her Can Do spirit. And how we both understood life's many challenges. But to fight and look for the best in life. God's comfort be with you. Donna Boyd
