Catherine M. Jensen, 92, of Bear, DE, passed away at her home November 7, 2012, surrounded by her family.
Born in Lancaster, NH on February 29, 1920, Catherine was the daughter of the late Philip and Alice Greene. She bowled on the Gems League in Newport, DE for over 40 years. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Neal Jensen; three sons, Terry Althouse of FL, MichaelAlthouse of Newark, DE and Daryl Joseph Althouse of Bear; daughter-in-law, Helen Althouse, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Elias Althouse.
A service will be held at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear, DE on Tuesday November 13, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice c/o R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 West Main St., Newark, DE 19711.
