Lois and Dick Neuman left a message on February 16, 2020:
So sorry for your loss. Carolyn and I met in Public School 49 for junior/middle school, went to different high schools and then came together a few years later in the nursing program at UMD. Our lives stayed on this together/apart path while we experienced marriage, children, higher degrees, and death of our parents. Animals were always a part of Carolyn and Bud's life and a source of amazement to me, never knowing what was next. A good, caring, constant friend who appreciated learning complexities. She strove for excellence. Bud, Dick and I will miss our holiday adventures with you and Carolyn. She will be missed and never forgotten.. We are better for having her in our lives.
