I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Carol. Looking at her picture, reminds me of her kind heart and caring soul. She was such an important part of our Elk Neck family. She was able to help all children succeed in school. She was dedicated to her children at school and to her family at home. I know that she will be greatly missed, but I am glad that she is free from the pain and suffering and is at peace. I know that it is a very difficult time for all. To Carol's family, I know that you have many great memories to always keep in your heart. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Gone too soon. A friend, former colleague and one of the hardest working teachers I ever knew! The faculty at Elk Neck could not of had a stronger faculty rep than Carol. She loved her family with all of her heart. Mike, Garrett and Nathan, you were her joy. Bless you all.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Teresa Head left a message on November 20, 2014:
I remember growing up across the street from your family and she would take me all around the yard describing the flowers to me. Even though growing up with Garrett and Nathan was fun, there were no girls in the neighborhood so it was fun to have "girl time" with your mom :) She was a beautiful woman and an excellent role model. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Lots of love, Teresa

I'll never forget having her for 2nd grade at Thompson Estates Elementary School. I was a horrible kid in her class! It's a miracle she ever even talked to me again. But she was an amazing soul and despite me being a pain in the butt in class, she always treated me well for the rest of her life. My prayers go out to Garrett, Nathan and Michael and the rest of the family during this difficult time. She was truly one of a kind and she will be greatly missed.
