I would like to extend condolences from the Swing family to all of the Malinowski's and their families. Carol and I were childhood friends, and went all through school together. As small children we lived within walking distance of each other and played together. Even as a child Carol was ready for fun and had a warm personality. We went to all through school together and she was always a fun loving person and good friend. We lost touch after high school, but through the years I have thought of her often. I just heard of her passing and want to express my sympathy to her family, and tell you that the happy memories I have of Carol will stay with me always. Shirley Swingn

I am so sorry for your loss. I did not get the Sunday paper this week and did not get this news until this evening and I'm upset that I missed Carol's funeral. Carol and I saw each other once a year at tax time for several years and would occasionally talk on the phone in between tax season. She was full of fire. We used to talk about the trips we would take together if either one of us ever hit the lottery. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren. When she was first diagnosed with cancer she came to the office and we cried together. She gave me a clear plastic heart that had an angel inside it. She said each time we saw each other we would pass it back and forth. I ended up with it last. She was always on my mind. I called her several times once I started my own business and was not as far away as before, only getting hold of her once. She told me she was weak and not feeling well but on her way to see her grandchildren and would call when she felt better. I did not hear back from her and since I didn't, needless to say, I did not do her taxes and was not able to pass the angel heart back to her. I loved that woman so much, one of those friends you don't talk to often but they are always in your heart. I will truly miss her. I might have been a better friend if I hadn't trusted time.

To the Family that Carol cherished, I knew Carol through taking courses at Cecil College and worked with her briefly at Kmart......We shared fun and thoughtful moments in our times together. She brightened up a room no matter the circumstances. I will miss her and cherish all the memories. Bless your family and know that you have an angel watching over you, Stacey Gill

Cynthia, Michael and families, Your mom (my little CG) was truly an amazing person. Her personality lit up a room. To know her was to love her. I was privileged to be her friend. I will miss her terribly. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families during this difficult time. My Angel in heaven, my dad, will take good care of her and I'm sure they will become fast friends. I'm here if you need anything or just want to talk. Love Mar Mar

Our time knowing Carol was far too short. What a amazing lady. I always admired her jest and love of life and how she forged ahead no matter what. I will always remember doing water aerobics in Aruba. What fun and laughter and we had. May loving memories comfort your family. Thank you Carol for the time we had. Love Nancy and Allan Moynes3

We are so sorry for your loss. We met Carol in Aruba with Bob. The minute we met we knew that she was very very special. We were fortunate enough to spend some quality time together. Carol and I shared some very special talks and I will always treasure that. She was so family oriented and that was one of the things that we loved about her and no matter how sick she was she was always positive. Her attitude was the best and I confided in her. We lost a daughter to pancreatic cancer a few years ago. She was 45 and only lasted 3 months after that awful diagnosis and her attitude was the same as your Moms.. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and I hope that your "Angel" has met our "Angel". Love, Ginny & Bob
