Carol Elizabeth Roberts (76) of Elkton, Maryland passed away on January 28, 2023. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 29, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lillian (Starkey) Rankin.

Carol worked as a cook over the years in the Elkton area at the Family Restaurant, Hardies and Green Jeans to name a few. At home, she was known for cooking delicious “Hill Billy” food for her family.  She enjoyed sewing, crocheting playing Yahtzee and was an avid 49ers Football Fan. She liked to relax in front of her TV to watch the Price is Right or one of her favorite Soap Operas. Carol especially loved to party and dance and could play a mean game of Beer Pong. It was spending time with her family that gave her the greatest joy in life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her son, Keith Roberts, daughter, Brenda Anders and grandson, Brian Roberts.

Carol is survived by her son, Sam Plaster, Jr. of Elkton, MD and daughter, Patricia Bouchelle of Elkton, MD; grandchildren: Cody Davis, Denise McCraw, Martin Bouchelle, Jennifer Johnson, Dustin Plaster, Christopher Plaster, Brandon Roberts, Tracey Stanley and Marie Lozar; great-grandchildren: Kyla Davis, Hailey Davis, Milania Davis, Jamari Davis, Jahcier Petion, James Petion, Christian Johnson, Carliegh Johnson, Ellie Plaster and Mason Plaster: and her twin- brother, Dennis Rankin of Baltimore, MD.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 12:00 PM at R. T. Foard Funeral Home – 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD. The family will begin receiving friends for a Visitation at 10:00 AM.
