Cameron Alan ” Lumpy” Davis, age 34, of Elkton, MD passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Born September 19, 1978, he was the son of Edward and Rita Davis.
Cameron attended Elkton Christian Academy then continued on to work for Chrysler for ten years. He was a member of Hogs and Heroes, with whom he served as chaplain. He enjoyed spending his time listening to a variety of music, watching reality shows, cooking, and crabbing.
Including his parents, Cameron is survived by his son, Christian Davis; daughters, Alexis and Brianna Davis; sister, Ashley Ellis of York, PA; maternal grandmother, Esther Cothin of Millington, MD; and his bulldog, Biscuit.

Several years ago, Ed Davis contacted me searching for the perfect bulldog for his son, Cameron. Cameron had been thru a tough time and his Dad was wanting him to have a bulldog. They had an incident with an unreputable bulldog breeder onlne. I wanted to make things right for Ed and Cameron. My husband and I had the perfect pup in mind. "Biscuit" was via American Airlines to Cameron. From that moment on....our lives changed. We bonded over Biscuit and have remained friends for the past few years, sharing music, bulldog stories, pictures and just enjoying facebook chats and a few phone calls. Cameron was my big teddy bear. He had a great spirit and I could always count on him to listen and lift my spirits. Cameron loved his Mom, Dad, and his kids. He told me repeatedly how is Dad is his hero and how fortunate he was to have his family. Cameron experienced pain but always managed to make others feel better in tough times they were going thru. I loved Cameron. I am a better person because of Cameron and am so thankful our paths crossed. Cameron touched my soul and I will miss him deeply. Cameron, thank you for being here for me thru my cancer, deaths in my family, and for teaching me how to love and laugh again. I am so glad we were able to visit Monday. Just so sad you left us so soon. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Biscuit. I never had to worry about how he was doing. He loved you too buddy! No more pain Cam....No more pain.
