Brenda Lynn Beaulieu, age 65, of Rising Sun, MD passed away April 15, 2018. She was born June 5, 1952 and was adopted by Vera Gould and the late Robert Thomas Adcock, Sr.
Brenda grew up in Salinas, CA, where she graduated from Salinas High School. Brenda then joined the Navy and National Guard and served our nation for 29 years. Her title was medical corpsman and she would care for injured soldiers overseas. Brenda enjoyed knitting and liked the finer things in life; shopping, and dressing well. She was also involved with various veteran organizations for women including the Athena Women’s Group at the Veteran’s Center in Springvale, ME. Brenda worked with Ringling Bros Circus for 3 years, where she took care of the circus train. When she was living in Rhode Island, she designed costumes for plays at Trinity Repertory Company.
In addition to her mother, Vera Gould of Wattsonville, CA, Brenda is survived by her daughter, Dee Graves of Leominster, MA; son, Tyler Graves and spouse Brittany Graves of Rising Sun, MD; Grandchildren, Shalousie Graves, Evangeline Graves, Zoe Graves, and Phoebe Graves. She is also survived by her husband, Michael Beaulieu of Springvale, ME. In addition to her father, Brenda is preceded in death by her daughter, Kat Graves; and step-father, Babe Silar.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Springvale, 429 Main Street, Springvale, ME 04083. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “Maine Special Olympics” and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 248, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
