Brenda Kristen Miller-Duncan of Elkton, MD, age 34, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. She was born in Tampa, FL on May 23, 1987 to the late Michael James Miller, Sr. and Denise Marie (Sudziarski) Hanley.
Brenda was a hardworking, selfless person who always had a smile on her face despite any obstacles thrown her way. That smile was at its brightest when she was with her family or close friends. Brenda’s daughters were her world and she loved being a mother to her two beautiful and talented girls. Brenda enjoyed going on road-trips with her two daughters, three nieces and big sister while listening to their funny stories or singing her 90’s R&B. She was the fun aunt who would surprise her nephews with trips to amusement parks or sign them out of school. Even though she was the youngest of the Miller clan, her big sister and two big brothers knew they could always count on Brenda for anything. She always put her family first and would go without if it meant helping someone else.
Brenda is survived by her two daughters: Makenzie and Madison; companion, Doug Clem; two brothers: Michael Miller, Jr. (Cindy Jensen) and Dustin Miller (Amanda Reckenberger); sister: Crystal Miller (Justin Spratt); six nephews: Mikey Miller III, Dylan Duncan, Jeffery Huston II, Ryan Reckenberger, Joey Reckenberger and Colin Spratt; four nieces: Sophie Miller, Tori Harriston, Gabby Miller and Olivia Miller; best friends: Joanne Rispoli and Wanda Clem; and Pop-Pop Petey; Kerri Reed; and former husband, Mitchell Duncan.
A memorial gathering will be held from 3 PM to 5 PM on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 259 E. Main St., Elkton, MD 21921. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. To send online condolences, please visit www.rtfoard.com.
