Beverly June Galoff, 81, of Elkton, MD, passed away on February 23, 2015.
Born in Winona, MN on May 23, 1933, Beverly was the daughter of the late Ole & Amanda Solberg. She retired from the Cecil County Public School System in 1996 where she worked as a reading specialist. She was a member of the Cecil County Retired Teachers Association and the St Pauls’ Lutheran Church in Newark, DE. Beverly enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Freeman N. Galoff of Elkton MD; son, James B. Galoff and his wife Jessica of Middletown, DE; daughters, Pam J. Emery and her husband Tim of Bristow, VA and Penny K. Galoff and her husband Mark Beitler of Elkton, MD; grandchildren, Hayden Emery, Amanda Emery, Jessica Galoff, Mary Beitler and Sarah Beitler; brother, Wallace Solberg of LaCrosse, WI and sister, Dianne Effinger of Wisconsin Dells, WI.
A service honoring her life will be held at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main St., Elkton, MD 21921 at 2pm on Saturday February 28, 2015. Family and friends may visit starting at 1pm.

Did you know that Aunt Bev "saved" me when I was in 3rd grade. My teacher tried to convert me to write with my right hand. She had me writing on the black board "I will write with my right hand" 100 times. She put me in the hall when I started crying. Aunt Bev came by & asked what was wrong. I told her between sobs. She took my little hand & we went to the office. That was the end of that teacher trying to make me right handed. Aunt Bev was my hero. Thanks Aunt Bev for saving little kids like me.
