Betty Marie Stewart Crawford, 68, of North East, MD, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 at Christiana Hospital.
Born September 16, 1946, to the late Charles and Margaret Stewart, Betty was a loving mother, grandmother and homemaker to her family.
Betty is survived by her daughters Constance Crawford Blackburn & her husband Craig of Elkton, MD, Charlene Crawford Gemmola & her husband Tony of Elkton, MD, Wendy Crawford Reil & her husband Michael of North East, MD; brothers, Charles “Salt Water” Stewart, of Northeast, MD, and Vernon “turtle” Stewart of North East, MD; Sisters Doris Ann Lloyd of Elkton, MD, and Barbra Tomlin of Hurst, TX, along with 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren
She was is preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Stewart, granddaughter Bessie Anna Reil, and her mother and father.
A memorial service honoring Betty’s life will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the North East Fire House, 210 South Maulden Ave, North East, MD, 21901. Where family and friends may visit starting at 11:00 am. Luncheon to follow at 12:30 pm.
