Betty Mae Olenderski of Newark, DE, age 83, passed away with her loving family by her side Sunday, November 15, 2020. Betty was born on May 17, 1937 in Cambridge, MD to the late Cecil Herbert Wright and Kathleen (Tyler) Wright.
Betty loved providing for and taking care of her family. She especially loved her grandkids and enjoyed watching them grow up. Betty was a wonderful home cook and everyone would love to come to her home for the holidays.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Linda Iocono (Ralph) of Bear, DE; daughter, Kathy Wolinski (Jim) of Newark, DE; 4 grandchildren: Marc Iocono (Julie), Justin Iocono, Ashley Wolinski and Jimmy Wolinski; 4 great-grandchildren: Julianna, Sophia, Marc II and Lily. In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene R. Olenderski; son, Tony Olenderski and granddaughter, Michelle Iocono.
Services for Betty will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to “American Heart Association” and sent in care of R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 W. Main Street, Newark, DE 19711.
