Betty Lou Snow, age 53, of Aberdeen, MD, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026. She was born on March 13, 1973, in Havre De Grace, MD to the late Roy Thompson and Joyce Edith (Kelly) Thompson.

Betty’s greatest joy in life was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, who brought endless happiness and purpose to her life. Whether sharing stories, celebrating milestones, or simply enjoying time together, Betty made her family feel deeply loved and supported.

A loyal fan of the Denver Broncos, Betty rarely missed the opportunity to cheer on her favorite football team. Game days were a special time, filled with excitement, hope, and plenty of Broncos pride. Betty also found peace and happiness in the outdoors. She loved spending time surrounded by nature, appreciating its beauty and the quiet moments it offered. Gardening and flowers (especially the biggest ones) were among the things that brought her joy. She had a special fondness for butterflies and enjoyed simply being outside, taking in the fresh air and beauty around her.

Betty’s personality could be seen in all the little things she loved. She adored Tweety Bird, Betty Boop, and Groot. She loved her dog, Molly, enjoyed listening to music, lighting candles, and cozying up with her favorite blankets. A cup of Dunkin’ coffee was always a welcome treat, and she had an appreciation for cars, especially Novas. These simple joys, along with her love of flowers and gardening, were all part of what made Betty uniquely herself.

Betty will be remembered for her loving heart, her unwavering devotion to her family, and the warmth she shared with everyone she met. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her and in the countless moments they shared together.

Betty is survived by her children: Kyle Snow, Courtney Snow and Jacob Snow; grandchildren: Bentley, Alaiya, and Analie; companion, Charles “Chuck” Aryes; and siblings: Ruth Reynolds, Peggy Spencer, Sue Thompson, Dennis Thompson, Richard Thompson, Francis Thompson, David Thompson, and Robert Thompson. In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her brother, Paul Thompson, and sister, Joyce Smith.

A celebration of Betty’s life will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD, where friends and family may begin visiting at 10:00 AM. A burial will be held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Peach Bottom, PA.
