Betty E. Thomas

August 23, 1922 - May 23, 2012

Betty E. Thomas, 89 of Elkton, MD, went home to meet the Lord on May 23, 2012 at Singerly Manor, surrounded by her family.

Betty was born on August 23, 1922, the daughter of the late Charles and Melda Custer. Devoted to her family, she will be remembered as a loving and caring wife and mother.

She is survived by two daughters, Vickey Curl and her husband Dale of Dover, DE and Mary Thomas of Elkton; a grandson, Robert Curl; three brothers and a sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Thomas who died in 1978.

A celebration of Betty’s life will be held at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main St., Elkton, MD 21921 on Sunday May 27, 2012 from 6 – 8:00 p.m. Burial will be private at a later date.
