Bernice Louise Paoletti, 84, of Elkton, MD, passed away July 18, 2012 at Laurelwood Care Center.
Born in Colquitt County, GA on December 20, 1927, Bernice was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Dora Hopson. She was a homemaker, and outstanding seamstress and talented cook. Bernice was a compassionate and caring woman, always eager to help but above all was devoted to her family.
She is survived by her sons, Fred Paoletti and Charlie Kist; daughters, Janice Shannon, Dora Lilly, Donna Paoletti and Robin Kist; brother Wilmer Hopson; 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas A. Paoletti, daughter Judy Cahall, sons Samuel and Nick Paoletti, daughter inlaw Esther Paoletti, son in law Martin F. Shannon, brother Harvey Hopson and Charles Kist, Sr.
A service honoring her life will be held at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main St., Elkton, MD 21921 on Monday July 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family may call at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Gilpin Manor Cemetery.
