Bernice Yoder (Bunny) was born on November 10, 1941 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to the late John and Josephine (Kosowski) Brincks. She has one brother, William Curry (Billy). Bunny graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School in Philadelphia. Her favorite childhood memory was playing with dolls and walking in the park with her father.
Bunny married Kenneth (Ken) P. Yoder on February 27, 1960, they were married for 55 years. They had 2 children, Kenneth (Kenny) and Denise (Dee). Her only grandchild, Ryan, was the apple of her eye!
While Ken was a police officer and a Mason, Bunny was an amazing mother and homemaker. She was also an office worker at a beer distributor and a retail clerk in many antique stores. As an avid yard sale enthusiast, she loved going to yard sales and having yard sales. She had a great eye for purchasing antiques and unique items. She loved meeting and talking to new people.
Family meant the world to Bunny. She cherished her brother, his wife, her in-laws and all her nieces and nephews. She took great pleasure in dancing, had a silly sense of humor and enjoyed her friends. She delighted in cooking; making the best potato filling for Thanksgiving, cheesecake for Easter and Pizzelles for Christmas. Which are all traditions that her daughter and grandson continue to carry on for all to enjoy! Bunny made the world a better place.
Bunny is survived by her children: Kenneth J. Yoder, his wife Joann, Denise M. Erdner, her husband David and her grandchild, Ryan A. Mattern; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Bunny is preceded by her beloved husband.
